'Hamsa' - 'the Swan' symbolises the soul. The incoming and outgoing breath in a human being is like the two wings of the swan. When a Yogi unites his mind with the inflow and outflow of his breath called the Ajapa Gayatri he enters the natural state of spontaneous stillness (Sahaj Samadhi).
Yoga is union in Samadhi an inner ascent through evermore refined and evermore expanded spheres of consciousness, towards a realisation of the Godessence which lies at the core of one's own being. Yoga is Composed Mind.
Sangh is a collective Awareness of Souls travelling along the passage of time, evolving till they merge into the Divine, the drop partaking of the ocean of Consciousness."
